Who is Brigitte Bennett

WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!

My name is Brigitte Bennett and I run a busy naturopathic clinic in Ringwood North, Victoria, Australia.

My Passion:

I practise my craft with passion and especially love looking after families. Exploring alternative health care options for my own children is what got me interested in naturopathy in the first place many years ago.

My Clinic:

I run a FREE CHILDREN'S CLINIC on Monday afternoons, giving parents a chance to explore alternative and complementary options to orthodox health care.

On my other clinic days I see many patients from all walks of life and with all kinds of complaints. My working life is never boring! Some people have never been to a naturopath before, others wouldn't go anywhere else.

I specialise in ASTHMA MANAGEMENT, combining the BUTEYKO BREATHING METHOD with the latest in naturopathic care.

One of the many things I offer besides naturopathy is a wonderful treatment from Germany called DORN SPINAL THERAPY for the relief of neck, back and joint pain.

My Patients:

I cater for a varied clientele. There are those patients who are proactive and practice preventative health care and those who come to me when everyone else has given up on them. It is never too early or too late to address health issues!

My Qualifications:

After studying for four years I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy in March 1999.

Upon graduation I was awarded the Brauer's Homoeopathy Award for Outstanding Achievements.

I am a member of the Australian Naturopathic Practitioners Association (A.N.P.A.), the Federation of Natural and Traditional Therapists (F.N.T.T.) and the International Association of Infant Massage Australia.

I am certified by Buteyko Pty.Ltd / Brisbane to teach the Buteyko Breathing Method, for the relief of asthma.

I hold a Rei-ki I and Rei-ki II certificate and a Thought Field Therapy (TFT) certificate.

In 2007 I qualified as a Time Line Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist.

I am also a qualified primary school teacher which comes in handy when faced with my very young patients.

The Future:

The world is a changing place and we are continuously discovering better ways of solving the many health problems we are facing in our modern times. This is why I attend many hours of professional development every year. I am required to attend at least 20 hours of professional development by my professional associations but I frequently exceed that number.

A Personal Glimpse:

I was born in 1959 in Vienna, Austria and moved to Australia in 1980 after getting married to Stephen. We have two children, Peter, who was born in 1985 and Stephanie, who joined us in 1990. Our family wouldn't be complete without Scruffy, our Maltese / Jack Russell Cross, who has become my baby and who is allowed to do all sorts of things the kids were never allowed to do!

Besides Naturopathy, Homoeopathy and helping my patients, I love cooking, good food, reading, bush walking, traveling, going to the movies and generally hanging out with my family.
